These Scholarships are geared towards high school women in STEM, and are great opportunities to gain merit, acknowledgement, and money. These scholarships can also help pay for college.

Women At Microsoft (WAM) Scholarship

The Women at Microsoft, or WAM Scholarship is for women or non-binary high school seniors with a GPA of at least 3.0/4.0. This scholarship is for women planning to study a STEM at a 2 or 4 year college. Furthermore, the application requires a letter of recommendation, transcript, and career statement, and financial need will be considered. Applications open in January!

Science Ambassador Scholarship - Cards Against Humanity

The Cards against Humanity Science Ambassador scholarship is an annual scholarship program for women and binary students. This scholarship is for rising and current undergraduates interested in pursuing a STEM career. To apply, you need to include a 3 minute mini-lecture of sorts about a stem topic you are passionate about. Winners are announced in the spring of the application year, and 5 winners earn 20,000 each!

Hyundai Women in Stem Scholarship

The Hyundai Women in Stem scholarship is a great opportunity for female high school seniors or undergraduate students pursuing a STEM field. This scholarship strives to provide the resources to empower women in STEM to successfully thrive in their chosen field, to create a better future for all. This scholarship requires a 500 word essay about STEM tech projects that can help society. The scholarship amount is 10,000 each for 5 winners. Applications open in the spring!

Study.com Women in Stem Scholarship

The study.com women in stem scholarship is a smaller scholarship for females pursuing a STEM degree in college. This scholarship is for women who have displayed academic and extracurricular achievements and is planning to be enrolled in a US college. 2 scholarships are awarded annually, one in June, and the other in December, and winners may be featured on the study.com site!

SNC Women-In-Stem Scholarship

The SNC women in stem scholarship is a scholarship program striving to assist women who are interested in pursuing a non-medical stem career and major in college. This scholarship is also aimed towards people in financial need, and financial status is a big factor in choosing recipients. Furthermore, applicants have the opportunity to repeatedly apply for every year that they have eligibility. Around 5 scholarships are given for 7,500 each, and females who meet the grade point average of 3.5/4.0 are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is in January!

ABC Humane Wildlife Women In STEM Scholarship

The ABC Humane Wildlife Women In STEM academic Scholarship is a one time scholarship aimed at Women in STEM planning to or currently studying STEM in college. This scholarship requires a 1000 word essay talking about your passion in STEM and why you chose to pursue it. The top winner will receive 1000 dollars, but up to 9 other submissions may also receive some type of prize. This scholarship was created by a female entrepreneur and business owner, Rebecca Fyffe, who wants more women to have the opportunity to succeed in STEM. Snapology STEAM Studies Scholarship

The Snapology STEAM studies Scholarship is for female high school seniors planning to earn a bachelor’s degree in STEM. This is also a scholarship that considers applicants financial need. This scholarship requires an application with an essay talking about the changes they hope to see in their schools. The award amount varies, and the scholarship application opens in February!

MPOWER Women in STEM scholarship

The MPOWER Women in STEM scholarship is designed to provide International/DACA female students planning to study in the US or Canada with financial support. Applicants must be enrolled in a MPOWER-eligible school in the US or Canada, and also able to study legally in these 2 countries. The scholarship application requires basic college and personal information, as well as a 200-500 word essay about advancements in STEM. Furthermore, there are 3 prizes awarded, first, second, and third place, with varying prize amounts. Applications close in August!
